ParcelX & Metaverse Announce Strategic Partnership
ParcelX and Metaverse have agreed to officially move forward with a robust strategic partnership as of May 2, 2018. Under the terms of this partnership, both parties will work together closely to establish the world’s first global, cross-border parcel delivery network using blockchain technology.
ParcelX will onboard Metaverse as their first dAPP on the Global ParcelX Network, and will fully utilize Metaverse’s expertise in self-sovereign digital identity on the platform. At the same time, Metaverse will open its powerful platform to ParcelX in order to deeply customize and streamline its service offerings.
Metaverse founder Eric Gu will join ParcelX’s advisory team, lending his numerous years of leadership and expertise in the Chinese blockchain ecosystem to the project. Metaverse’s experience in deploying its unique “Avatar” digital identity, devotion to developing on-chain enterprises, as well as development of its “smart assets freeze & transfer” functionality will be a distinct advantage for the development of the ParcelX network.
Furthermore, Metaverse will leverage its institutional investor network to assist in ParcelX’s private sale. It will also support the GPX（https://explorer.mvs.org/#!/asset/PARCELX.GPX） token’s ICO process and promote it before, during, and after the listing process via its own platforms, well-known blockchain and crypto media channels, and industry events.
ParcelX selected Metaverse as one of its major strategic partnerships due to its long history and prestige in the Chinese blockchain industry. Furthermore, Metaverse’s dedication to R&D, professionalism, user-friendliness, and technical knowledge will be an indispensable asset to the success of ParcelX going forward.
ParcelX is the future of decentralized cross-border parcel delivery. Radically transparent, efficient and inexpensive, ParcelX is creating a new, Blue Ocean market with blockchain as a revolutionary technology. It will remove inefficiency, data opacity, and high costs from one of the world’s oldest industries: cross-border logistics.
With an established market base in China, Japan & Korea, and over 50 cross-border e-commerce delivery partners, it will harness unutilized, redundant capacity to unite geographically distant nodes, using blockchain and token economics to seamlessly integrate its services for all participants and stakeholders.
Metaverse is an open-source public blockchain that aims to provide digital assets and identity capabilities. Through blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS), it creates convenient, secure digital finance services accessible to all Internet applications at virtually no cost.
