Metaverse Development Report – June, 2017

Development and operation progress

Version 0.6.9 of the Metaverse Foundation Wallet was released on the 15th of this month. The Release Notes may be viewed here: http://blog.mvs.live/latest-releasenotes/
The following is the progress made by Metaverse developers this month:

Full Node Wallet

  1. Optimized node broadcast performance, Github Issue 18.
  2. Solve issues with failure to broadcast transactions.

According to user feedback, transaction broadcast failures appeared frequently in v0.6.9. Thus, v0.6.10 will mainly address this issue.

  1. Re-designed the product interface.

We have optimized the new UI based on different users' usage frequency and have readjusted its display and layout to improve user experience.

  1. Visualization and statistics for global active full nodes.
  2. Improved unit testing code.
  3. Continuous integration of Github Travis.ci configuration.
  4. The new version supports a one-click set-up package.
  5. Newly added Metaverse Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaverse_Blockchain
  6. Bitcoin wiki added a new link about Metaverse Foundation: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Libbitcoin
  7. BBS prized community activities: http://bbs.viewfin.com

Light Wallet

Metaverse Foundation’s Light Wallet is at the product design stage.

While the core development team of Metaverse Foundation develops the Light Wallet, the community can also participate in the development process. Metaverse Foundation will give reward to developers based on product design.

MIP-Metaverse Improvement Proposals

The new version’s protocol considers adding the two functions below:

  1. Providing a secondary issue function when assets are issued.
  2. Assets can be frozen during asset transfers.

For such MIPs, follow-up MIP research reports will be provided.
